The second quarterfinal match has just finished and Anko has won. Here is the result from that match:
1. Sakura Kyouko (Madoka): 657 votes
2. Kuroneko/Gokou Ruri (Ore no Imouto): 568 votes
This was a pretty close match. Kyouko-chan took the early lead, but Ruri-chan inched her way towards Kyouko-chan and eventually took the lead near the end. However, in the last hour, Kyouko-chan had an upsurge in votes and easily won. Ore no Imouto ends its tournament run with a devestating loss. Had there been no Puella Magi, she would have won. On the other hand, we have our first Puella Magi in the final four. Predictions are now 1-1 (117-37) and picks are 1-1 (78-76).
Now on to quarterfinal match #3:
Kaname Madoka (Madoka): 1st (Group F1), 60.4% (C3-1), 65.6% (C1-2), 67.0% (C1-3), 64.1% (C1-4)
Miki Sayaka (Madoka): 1st (F10), 57.3% (E3-1), 54.3% (E1-2), 56.7% (E1-3), 62.1% (E1-4)
So, this match is hard to read. Madoka-chan is the goddess that has constantly been doing well. However, Sayaka-chan has also been doing well. Right now, I’m going to say that Madoka-chan will easily win this match, but if the Sayaka-chan/Kyouko-chan match is desired that much, Sayaka-chan will win this. Hard to also pick a girl to support, but I guess I’ll support Madoka-chan.
