The Group B Final has just finished and Erica has won. Here is the result from that match:
1. Erica Hartmann (Strike Witches): 377 votes
2. Tachibana Kanade/Tenshi (Angel Beats!): 323 votes
Kanade-chan had a small lead in the beginning, but after a couple of hours, Erica took the lead and never lost that lead afterwards. This was Angel Beats!’ final stand and unfortunately, Tenshi, herself, could not even survive past the group finals. In contrast, this is Strike Witches’ best year ever (of two years). Predictions are now 0-2 (110-36) and picks are 0-2 (72-74).
Now on to the Group C matchup:
Kaname Madoka (Madoka): 1st (Group F1), 60.4% (C3-1), 65.6% (C1-2), 67.0% (C1-3)
Elucia de Lute Irma/Elsea (KamiNomi): 1st (F14), 61.9% (C9-1), 49.6% (C3-2), 55.0% (C2-3)
One would think that Madoka would easily win this, but something about these group finals. Girls that you would expect to win are falling. However, I might have an explanation for that, which may be right or wrong. Mikoto-chan and Kanade-chan are seen as bigger threats to the Madoka faction than Lotte and Erica. To help Madoka is to vote against those two. Whether or not this is true we’ll see in future matches. Today’s match is going to be close but if this thinking is true, Madoka should make it easily. I’ll be rooting for Madoka.
