Anime Saimoe Tournament 2011 – Round 4 – Group A Final

The third round is finished and in those final six matches, Haqua, Mami, Index, Kuroneko, Anko, and Houki have won. Here are the results from those matches:

Match E2:

1. Haqua du Lot Herminium (KamiNomi): 227 votes

2. Takahara Ayumi (KamiNomi): 196 votes

Match F1:

1. Tomoe Mami (Madoka): 410 votes

2. Miyafuji Yoshika (Strike Witches): 183 votes

Match G1:

1. Index (To Aru Majutsu no Index): 333 votes

2. Morishima L. Haruka (Amagami SS): 204 votes

Match H2:

1. Kuroneko/Gokou Ruri (OreImo): 341 votes

2. Touhara Asuha (Lotte no Omocha!): 208 votes

Match G2:

1. Sakura Kyouko (Madoka): 532 votes

2. Akechi Kokoro (Milky Holmes): 306 votes

Match H1:

1. Shinonono Houki (Infinite Stratos): 451 votes

2. Kanzaki H. Aria (Hidan no Aria): 341 votes

It was a relatively close match between Haqua and Ayumi, but in the battle of KamiNomi, Haqua wins over Ayumi. Another impressive victory by the Madoka faction, as Yoshika has no way of getting close to Mami. The “Touma Head Eater” has no problem going up against Haruka while Ruri-chan continues her “better than Kiririn” run, easily beating pantsuless-loving Asuha. Food-loving Kyouko-chan has no problem against annoying G4 leader Kokoro, while Houki surprises Kugyuu tsundere Aria-chan. Predictions are now 15-1 (110-34) and picks are 12-4 (72-72).

With today being a rest day, tomorrow is a new round: the group finals! Let’s look at tomorrow’s match:

Group A Final:

Misaka Mikoto (Index): 3rd (F3), 52.0% (A5-1), 62.9% (A2-2)

Astarotte Ygvar (Lotte no Omocha!): 1st (F9), 57.0% (A12-1), 50.6% (A2-3)

Even though Biri Biri has done well throughout the years, she has never made it to the final eight. One way or another, she ends up getting screwed. She was a bit lucky this year because she had a decent chance of being eliminated in the first round, but we all know what happened there. She has chance this year to go ahead, but she has to go up against a Kugyuu girl, Lotte. She has done okay, but last round was a close call for her. With Mikoto-chan up, I don’t think she will be able to advance, especailly seeing what happened last match with Aria-chan against Houki. I’ll be rooting for the Railgun, Mikoto-chan.
