Matches C2 and D1 have just finished and Elsie and Ika-chan have won. Here are the results from those matches:
1. Elucia de Lute Irma/Elsie (KamiNomi): 295 votes
2. Run (A Channel): 241 votes
1. Ika Musume (Ika Musume): 390 votes
2. Yuzurizaki Nero (Milky Holmes): 154 votes
Elsie has a close match against Run-chan, but Elsie managed to keep the lead for the entire match. Milky Holmes has another bad day. Without her toy, Nero had no chance to stop the continuing invasion of Ika-chan. Ika-chan had a big lead in the beginning and ended up with a whopping 71.7% of the votes at the end. This means trouble for Yuno in the group finals. Predictions are now 8-0 (103-33) and picks are 7-1 (67-69).
Here are the first two third round matches in Groups E and F:
Miki Sayaka (Madoka): 1st (F10), 57.3% (E3-1), 54.3% (E1-2)
Charlotte Dunois (Infinite Stratos): 1st (F12), 49.4% (E5-1), 48.3% (E2-2)
Yuuko (A Channel): 4th (F7), 44.4% (F9-1), 46.9% (F3-2)
Hotogi Shirayuki (Hidan no Aria): 3rd (F12), 48.9% (F11-1), 46.0% (F4-2)
We have two matches today that can be very close. In the Group E match, we have Sayaka-chan going up against the best that IS has to offer. The question is: can she survive today to make Madoka’s record 2-0 in this round? It’s hard to tell because she’s not the strongest of this group, yet she has been doing well. For now, I’m giving Sayaka-chan the benefit of the doubt. In Group F, Yuuko is going to try to keep A Channel alive, but she has to face the yandere miko of the Butei. Yuuko is at the level of Run-chan and Shirayuki-chan is around the level of Elsie, maybe a bit weaker. I don’t think that A Channel has enough power to continue on to the next round. I’ll be rooting for Sayaka-chan and Shirayuki-chan.
