The final two matches have just finished and Anko and Kuroneko have won. Here are the results from those matches
1. Sakura Kyouko (Madoka): 481 votes
2. Charlotte E. Yeagar (Strike Witches): 169 votes
3. Toudou Tsumugi (Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi): 58 votes
1. Kuroneko/Gokou Ruri (OreImo): 390 votes
2. Shirai Kuroko (To Aru…): 237 votes
3. Perinne H. Clostermann (Strike Witches): 101 votes
Kyouko-chan and Ruri-chan dominated their matches. Kyouko-chan took off running in the beginning. Nothing much else to say here since the other two girls were nowhere near her. Ruri-chan’s match was a bit closer, but she still dominated her match against Kuroko. Kiririn might have have fell, but Kuroneko showed no sign of weakness. Predictions are now 22-10 (95-33) and picks are 15-17 (60-68).
Round 2 was dominated by the Madoka girls. KamiNomi, STEINS;GATE, Index, Milky Holmes, Strike Witches, Lotte, and Aria did okay in this round, while IS struggles a bit. continue to dominate. Now, on to the third round, were we begin the head-to-head matchups. Here are the first two matches in the third round, which will be happening tomorrow (today is a rest day):
Victorique de Blois (GOSICK): 2nd (F10), 55.3% (A3-1), 50.6% (A1-2)
Misaka Mikoto (To Aru…): 3rd (F3), 52.0% (A5-1), 62.9% (A2-2)
Erica Hartmann (Strike Witches): 4th (F2), 43.7% (B8-1), 44.2% (B3-2)
Amane Suzuha (STEINS;GATE): 7th (F3), 53.7% (B10-1), 41.6% (B4-2)
The Group A matchup is going to be an interesting matchup between two favorites. Victorique’s path to this round was relatively easier than Mikoto-chan. Victorique didn’t have any big names to face, while Mikoto-chan had to face Homura-chan. The question is, can Victorique survive this big match against? I think that this match will be close, but I think that at the end, Mikoto-chan will win this. The Group B matchup should not be as interesting. Strike Witches isn’t that strong, but I see STEINS;GATE as weaker than Strike Witches, so I think that Erica will win this. I will be rooting for Mikoto-chan and Erica.
