Two more matches have just ended and Kokoro and Asuha have won. Here are the results from those matches:
1. Akechi Kokoro (Milky Holmes): 277 votes
2. Aragaki Ayase (OreImo): 201 votes
3. Sakurai Rihoko (Amagami SS): 104 votes
1. Touhara Asuha (Lotte no Omocha!): 227 votes
2. Ikaros (Sora no Otoshimono): 206 votes
3. Miyako (Hidamari Sketch): 135 votes
Kokoro was ahead for the entire match, but it remained a bit close until the end, when she disappeared from Ayase’s sight. The other match was really close with Asuha and Ikaros fighting for the top spot. Near the end, it looked like Ikaros might have gotten away, but the last hour proved to be a pivotal time for Asuha. She managed to get past Ikaros and then some. That brings my predictions to now 21-9 (94-32) and picks to 13-17 (58-68).
Now on to the final matches of the second round:
Toudou Tsumugi (Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi): 9th (F14), 36.2% (G10-1)
Charlotte E. Yeagar (Strike Witches): 7th (F7), 48.0% (G11-1)
Sakura Kyouko (Madoka): 1st (F5), 56.3% (G12-1)
Shirai Kuroko (To Aru…): 2nd (F1), 53.7% (H10-1)
Kuroneko/Gokou Ruri (OreImo): 1st (F11), 52.9% (H11-1)
Perinne H. Clostermann (Strike Witches): 9th (F1), 51.5% (H12-1)
We have a pair of Strike Witches in these final two matches. This could probably help them, but in the Group G match, Charlotte will have to face Madoka’s red-headed wild girl and Perinne will have to face the black cat of Ore no Imouto and the Mikoto-chan obsesser. I don’t think that Charlotte will be able to win against Kyouko even with Perinne’s help. However, the other match will be much closer. Kuroko is pretty strong and so is Ruri-chan, but Ruri-chan does also have a lot of haters. So, I think that Kuroko does have a slight advantage in this matchup. I’m going to be rooting for Anko-chan and Ruri-chan.
