The final two matches of Groups E and F in this round have just finished and Haqua and Shirayuki have won. Here are the results from those matches:
1. Haqua du Lot Herminium (KamiNomi): 336 votes
2. Matsumae Ohana (Hanasaku Iroha): 301 votes
3. Hasegawa Hirano (Milky Holmes): 66 votes
1. Hotogi Shirayuki (Hidan no Aria): 318 votes
2. Cecilia Alcott (Infinite Stratos): 289 votes
3. Asaka Hinata (Jewelpet Sunshine): 85 votes
Ohana took the lead in the beginning, but Ohana could not get away from Haqua. Haqua managed to catch up near the end and eventually got away from Ohana. I underestimated KamiNomi a little, but I overestimated Ohana’s strength a lot more. Shirayuki took the lead over Cecilia for most of the match, but near the end, Cecilia caught up. However, Shirayuki got away from Cecilia in the last hour. Predictions are now 18-6 (91-29) and picks are 10-14 (55-65), a bad day for me on predictions.
Here are the first two second round matches for Groups G and H:
Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen (Strike Witches): 5th (F10), 52.4% (G1-1)
Index (To Aru Majutsu no Index): 2nd (F16), 52.6% (G2-1)
Kousaka Kirino (OreImo): 1st (F6), 48.5% (G3-1)
Nakagawa Kanon (KamiNomi): 5th (F15), 49.1% (H1-1)
Agnese Sanctis (To Aru Majutsu no Index): 8th (F4), 45.4% (H2-1)
Shinonono Houki (Infinite Stratos): 6th (F16), 56.6% (H3-1)
The Group G match should be an interesting match between Kiririn and Index. I don’t think that Index can beat Kiririn, but she’ll make this match really close. Eila might also be a factor in this match. In the Group H match, we have another KamiNomi girl going up against another IS girl. Agnese might get some help from Index, but I think this is mainly going to be a match between the idol and the Japanese IS represenative, but seeing how Haqua and Cecilia did last round, I think that Kanon might have the advantage here. I’ll be voting for Kiririn and Kanon.
