Anime Saimoe Tournament 2011 – Round 2 – C2/D2

The first two matches in the second round for Group C and D have just finished and Madoka-chan and Nero-chan have won. Here are the results from those matches:

Match C1:

1. Kaname Madoka (Madoka): 333 votes

2. Isurugi Mio (MM!): 119 votes

3. Ingrid Sorveig Sorgrims/Ini (Lotte no Omocha!): 56 votes

Match D1:

1. Yuzurizaki Nero (Milky Holmes): 218 votes

2. Maekawa-san (Denpa Onna): 205 votes

3. Ritos Tortilla (Shukufuku no Campanella): 71 votes

Madoka-chan had an easy match. However, Nero-chan and Maekawa-chan had a very tight match. They were virtually tied for all of the match, but Nero-chan managed to get away at the very end. With that, Milky Holmes gets their first girl into the third round and Denpa Onna unfortunately gets eliminated. Maybe next year… That brings my predictions to 8-2 (81-25) and my picks to 5-5 (50-56).

On to the next matches:

Match C2:

Laura Bodewig (Infinite Stratos): 7th (F15), 53.5% (C4-1)

Eclair Martinozzi (DOG DAYS): 8th (F13), 42.8% (C5-1)

Hercule Barton (Milky Holmes): 7th (F1), 54.1% (C6-1)

Match D2:

Ika Musume (Ika Musume): 2nd (F3), 55.7% (D4-1)

Tougi Shiro (FORTUNE ARTERIAL): 8th (F15), 44.7% (D5-1)

Kotegawa Yui (To Love-Ru): 7th (Group F5), 46.0% (D6-1)

Ika Musume should have an easy time in her match. On the other hand, should be another very close match between another Milky Holmes girl and the German. Who will win is anyone’s guess, but since Milky Holmes does have the momentum right now, Hercule might edge out over Laura-chan. I’ll be rooting for Laura-chan and Shiro-chan.
