Anime Saimoe Tournament 2011 – Second Prelims 5 of 6

Match four has just finished and Yin has won this match. Here are the 16 moving to the main tournament:

1. Yin (DARKER THAN BLACK) – 130 votes

2. Nakata Sae (Amagami SS) – 125 votes

3. Sairenji Haruna (To Love-Ru) – 124 votes

4. Momo Velia Deviluke (To Love-Ru) – 112 votes

4. Sara (Jewelpet Tinkle) – 112 votes

6. Hiiragi Noa (MM!) – 108 votes

6. Suzuki Jun (K-On!!) – 108 votes

6. Ingrid Sorveig Sorgrims/Ini (Lotte no Omocha!) – 108 votes

9. Lala Satalin Deviluke (To Love-Ru) – 107 votes

9. Elfleda Mirjasdottir/Effie (Lotte no Omocha!) – 107 votes

9. Nyaruko (Haiyoru! Nyaruani) – 107 votes

12. Busujima Saeko (HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD) – 104 votes

14. Yutaka (A Channel) – 102 votes

15. Yamanaka Sawako (K-On!!) – 100 votes

16. Migiwa Kazuha (Yosuga no Sora) – 99 votes

To Love-Ru manages to get three of its girls in while Lotte and K-On!! manages to get two girls in. Ika Musume is able to get Eiko into the main tournament, but loses Nagisa in the process, missing the cut by two votes.

It’s very hard to predict who will win in a second preliminary match, let alone who will advance in the second preliminary, but I think that Railgun’s Mii has a decent shot of winning. Other possible advancers are A Channel’s Miho, Angel Beats! Hisako, Denpa Onna’s Yashiro, DOG DAYS’s Leo-sama, Koihime Musou’s Ryofu, Ookami-san’s Otohime, Stardust Witch Meruru’s Meruru, Madoka’s mom, Madoka’s Hitomi, Tiger & Bunny’s Pao-Lin Huang, and To Love-Ru’s Nana. I’ll be voting for spinning maid Maika-chan, Hisako, Sekine-chan, Yashiro, Leo-sama, IS’s Ran, Ryofu-chan, Meruru-chan, Madoka’s mom, Hitomi, and Nana.
