Anime Saimoe Tournament – Round 3 Group H finals

An interesting final match in group G has just finished and Azu-nyan has won. Here is a summary of that match:

Group G Match:

1. Nakano Azusa (K-On!!): 1052 votes

2. Misaka Mikoto (Railgun): 1026 votes

3. Akiyama Mio (K-On!!): 172 votes

So, yea, I said yesterday that either Azu-nyan and Mio-chan would be casted off for the other to give Mikoto-chan a challenge. That is exactly what happened. There was a ton of fake votes yesterday, but the result remained the same. Azu-nyan took the lead in the beginning of the match. Later on, Mikoto-chan caught up and took the lead. Then at the end, Azu-nyan managed to take the win. Yup, exactly. Split votes made the match close, but Azu-nyan took home the win. I guess it’s sad to see Mikoto-chan since she’s one of my favorite characters, but I like Azu-nyan also. My predictions and picks record takes a hitting yet again, bring predictions to 77-26 (3-4) and picks to 52-51 (2-5).

Now on to the last match of this round:

Group H Match:

Fate Testarossa (Nanoha): 1st (F13), 57.9% (H2-1), 48.9% (H1-2)

Saten Ruiko (Railgun): 1st (F10), 62.5% (H4-1), 46.8% (H2-2)

Serizawa Fumino (Mayoi Neko Overrun!): 2nd (F13), 47.7% (H8-1), 46.3% (H3-2)

Prediction:

So, this is going to be an interesting match between Fate-chan and Ruiko-chan. Unfortunately, Fumino-chan is going to be the one that gets ignored today. Index/Railgun fans are looking for a win today after that devastating loss against Azu-nyan. So, the question is, which fanbase is stronger, Railgun or Fate. And I think that Fate-chan has the slight advantage over Ruiko-chan, though Ruiko-chan could give Fate-chan a big challenge today. I’m going to vote for one of my favorite tsundere girls (and one of my few favorite girls left in this tournament), Fumino-chan.
