Anime Saimoe Tournament – Round 2 – G3/H1

Yesterday’s matches have just ended and Azu-nyan and Fumino-chan have won. Here is a summary of those matches:

Match G2:

1. Nakano Azusa (K-On!!): 653 votes

2. Touyoko Momoko (Saki): 463 votes

3. Taneshima Poplar (WORKING!!): 261 votes

Match H3:

1. Serizawa Fumino (Mayoi Neko Overrun!): 518 votes

2. Hinamori Amu (Shugo Chara!): 328 votes

3. Haibara Ai (Meitantei Conan): 272 votes

What was suppose to be two close matches ended up not being so close. Nothing much to say but that Azu-nyan and Fumino-chan easily won their matches. Momoko ended up not being that stealthy and Poplar-chan ended up not being so popular. So, that brings my predictions to 72-22 (19-3) and my picks to 49-45 (11-11).

Here is a look into the last two matches in this round:

Match G3:

Akiyama Mio (K-On!!): 4th (F12), 56.8% (G7-1)

Hanato Kobato (Kobato.): 4th (F10), 48.4% (G8-1)

Alisa Bannings (Nanoha): 11th (F14), 35.8% (G9-1)

Match H1:

Yuuki Mikan (To Love-Ru): 5th (F6), 40.7% (H1-1)

Fate Testarossa (Nanoha): 1st (F13), 57.9% (H2-1)

Natsume (Hidamari Sketch): 8th (F3), 35.3% (H3-1)

Predictions:

Seeing that Azu-nyan easily won that match, one would think that Mio-chan would easily win her match. However, a Mio-chan win would certainly mean a Mikoto-chan win. Though I wouldn’t mind that, some others would. The girl that could give Mio-chan the lost is Kobato (or maybe even Alisa). But this is still a tough call because Mikoto-chan fans are obviously going to try to get Mio-chan to win. I’m going to say that Mio-chan is going to win this as I don’t see either Kobato or Alisa as being powerful enough to beat Mio-chan. I’ll also be voting for Mio-chan. This other match is not going to be that close. Fate-chan won’t have much resistance here today. Mikan-chan or Natsume doesn’t have the power or the support to defeat Fate-chan. I will be voting for Mikan-chan.
