Anime Saimoe Tournament – First Prelims 16 of 16

This was an epic match not just because of the names but also because of the epic fake voting that happened this round. And at the end of the day…Shana-chan wins this match. Here is the top 12 for this round:

1. Shana – 1154 votes -> 663 votes

2. Hirasawa Yui (K-On!!) – 1503 votes -> 572 votes

3. Kotobuki Tsumugi (K-On!!) – 698 votes -> 555 votes

4. Yurippe (Angel Beats!) – 677 votes -> 474 votes

5. Suzumiya Haruhi – 634 votes -> 440 votes

6. Nymph (Sora no Otoshimono) – 461 votes -> 403 votes

7. Kotegawa Yui (To Love-Ru) – 591 votes -> 381 votes

8. Cecily Cambell (The Sacred Blacksmith) – 455 votes -> 339 votes

9. Hoshina Utau (Shugo Chara!) – 371 votes -> 314 votes

10. Lisa (The Sacred Blacksmith) – 442 votes -> 310 votes

11. Konori Mii (Railgun) – 408 votes -> 284 votes

12. Nino (Arakawa under the bridge) – 385 votes -> 268 votes

This was a ridiculous match to watch. We had several big names in this match, but that was not why it was ridiculous. There were a ridiculous amount of fake votes, especially for Yui and Shana-chan. I put the total votes including fake votes to show how ridiculous this was. Yui did what Mio-chan did in group 12, times four. Yui had a lot more fake votes than real votes. Shana had a lot of fake votes too, but it was not as bad as Yui (but much worse than everyone else). This is going to turn out to be an interesting tournament after seeing all of these fake votes. Mugi managed to get third, while Yuri and Haruhi managed to get fourth and fifth. The other Yui in this group, Kotegawa Yui, also did very well. The Sacred Blacksmith also managed to get Cecily and Lisa into the next round.

In this final round in the first preliminary is Hayate’s Ayumu, WORKING!’s Yachiyo, K-On!!’s Nodoka, and BakaTest’s Mizuki. They’re certain to do very well and I don’t see why they won’t advance. Saki has six more girls in this list, so you would think that at least one of them would advance. Taisho Yakyuu Musume might also do well in this round. There is that slight chance that Negima’s Asuna-chan will also make it in…maybe.

I’ll be voting for Negima’s Asuna-chan, Chisame, and Kaede. I will also be voting for Omamori Himari’s Rinko-chan, Railgun’s Aisa, Yachiyo, Nyan Koi’s Kotone, Tales of Vesperia’s Rita-chan, and BakaTest’s Aiko-chan.
