Anime Saimoe Tournament – First Prelims 10 of 16

It was easy to tell that Koromo was going to have an easy time in this round and guess what, she easily won. Here is a look of the girls that advance to the next round:

1. Amae Koromo (Saki) – 463 votes

2. Saginomiya Isumi (Hayate) – 377 votes

3. Toudou Elise (Seitokai no Ichizon) – 261 votes

4. Anzu (Hanamaru Kindergarten) – 250 votes

4. Ogasawara Akiko (Taisho Yakyuu Musume) – 250 votes

6. Kinoshita Yuuko (BakaTest) – 236 votes

7. Morishita Koyomi (Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou) – 231 votes

8. Miyanaga Teru (Saki) – 216 votes

9. Miria Marigold Mackenzie (Jewelpet Tinkle) – 202 votes

10. Minakami Misao (Asura Cryin’) – 194 votes

11. Suzuki (Mayoi Neko Overrun!) – 177 votes

12. Selnia Iori Flameheart (Ladies vs. Butlers!) – 174 votes

It was easy to Koromo to take this round since she didn’t have to face any other big names. Isumi didn’t have the power of Koromo, but easily took second place. Saki was also able to get Teru into the next round also, making them 2 for 3 yesterday. Seitokai’s Elise, Anzu, Hideyoshi twin Yuuko, and Misao-chan also made it to the next round easily. My biggest disappointment for yesterday is that Chrome-nyan didn’t even make it to the next preliminary round. What’s even worse is that she would have made it in if one more person voted for her. It’s like watching Japan lose in the round of 16 due to penalty kicks, but even worse. I’m sad right now because one more person couldn’t just vote for her. However, this means I basically get Chrome-nyan to myself. Angel Beats! also suffered a small defeat when Yui-nyan’s mom got eliminated (by two votes). I guess I’m going to have to intensify my support for Yui-nyan then.

Group 10 has more Saki in it, which means they’re going to have even more girls going to the next round. WORKING!!’s Nazuna will also easily make it. Angel Beats!’s Shiina shouldn’t have a hard time making it to the next round. Railgun’s Ruiko-chan also has a good chance of advancing. Negima has two girls today: Secchan and Haruna. Whether they go on to the next round I can’t really say. Maybe they can, but Negima hasn’t been doing that well this year.

Shiinacchi will of course get my number one vote for today. ToS’s Presea and Refill (Raine) Sage and Negima’s Secchan and Haruna will also get my votes since I’m supporting all ToS and Negima (and Angel Beats!) characters. My other five votes go to Ruiko-chan, Nazuna, Kiss×sis’s Ako, Suzu, and ToHeart2’s Konomi-chan.

GO NEGIMA AND GO SHIINA-CHAN!!!
